Our Brisbane dog training is delivered by the owner of Fur Get Me Not and experienced canine coach Cassandra Roland.
You can read more about Cassandra’s professional dog training background here. Cassandra works alongside clients to use positive coaching methods to improve your dog’s behaviour and strengthen your bond with your dog. She is certified as a dog trainer with International Association for Force Free Professionals
Coaching empowers your dog to discover the solutions from within rather than blindly following a command. As a result, this method of Brisbane dog training builds your dog’s confidence. It also improves their ability to behave desirably without the need for your “command”. This also builds a lasting relationship with your dog so that your dog will choose to listen to you.
As a positive canine coach, Cassandra can work with a number of behavioural issues: good manners, basic problem behaviours, puppy coaching and obedience. Some more serious behaviours require assistance from a qualified behaviourist or veterinarian. Cassandra can refer to these professionals if needed or work alongside them to maximise the results with your dog.
Cassandra will come and meet with you free of charge to ensure you and your dog are comfortable with her as a coach and she will design a coaching plan with you that is individualised and affordable to help you to achieve results. This can include coordinating external services like group dog training, clinical assessment and Fur Get Me Not’s dog walking services.
In most cases, adding walking to the coaching plan will reduce the need for as many 1-on-1 coaching sessions, saving time and money for the client. Additionally, ensuring the physical and mental needs of your dog are met will dramatically improve your dog’s behaviour.
