Private training sessions are focused on teaching your dog a specific behaviour and conducted by a qualified Obedience Dog Trainer. It does not include a detailed assessment. Therefore if your dog is experiencing any issues that are more of a behavioural concern (e.g. barking, aggression, reactivity, anxiety or fear based behaviours) you need to book a behavioural concern package.
This is to ensure you get the right amount of assessment and support for change and success. We can not effectively train a dog that has any nervousness, fear or stress without a thorough assessment.
This does not apply to puppies under 20 weeks of age experiencing behavioural issues. If your puppy is under 20 weeks of age you can book a private session, regardless of what the concern is. Also rescue dogs who were acquired in the last two weeks can book a private session instead of a Behaviour Assessment and Training Package.
