Raising a puppy can be ruff, we will share our tips and secrets to make it fun, positive and set your puppy up for success.

Example structure but this can be adapted to be done over less time or up to 6 months:
Week 1:
1 hour In home session scheduled at your preferred day and time
Online learning topics:
- How dogs learn and think
- Socialisation and fear periods
- Understanding how to communicate with your dog
- Modern dog training theory
- Dealing with biting, mouthing and chewing
Week 2:
Online learning topics:
- Creating calm routines and interactions
- Getting enough sleep and rest for your puppy
- What is socialisation and what should you socialise too
- Encouraging your puppy to listen and pay attention
- Using and teaching a lure
Week 3:
1 hour In home session scheduled at your preferred day and time
Online learning topics
- Creating a calm and safe space for your puppy and crate training
- Independence training and teaching your puppy to be home alone
- Teaching your puppy to give or drop an item
- Preventing resource guarding
- A game to get your puppies attention and teach recall
Week4:
Online learning topics:
- Toilet training your puppy
- Preparing for grooming and vets
- Teach your puppy to sit
- Polite communication and dealing with frustration
- Safe and fun play
Week 5:
1 hour In home session scheduled at your preferred day and time
Online learning topics:
- Walking your puppy on a leash
- A game to get your puppies focus in distracted environments
- How to make sure barking doesn’t get out of hand.
- Polite greetings and dealing with jumping
- Mat training and teaching your puppy to settle
Week 6:
Online learning topics:
- The dangers of dog parks
- Teaching your puppy to enjoy grooming
- Next steps for training and additional resources
Week 7:
1 hour In home session scheduled at your preferred day and time
Cost:
Face to face (in person) ONLY BAY ISLANDS $540 for the seven week course (can be done over six months if you prefer)
Online $500 for the seven week course.
